It didn't start out this way, but I think it ended up being one of Kano's household. One of the weirder ones.

I drew this a few days ago, but it somehow managed to kill my scanner. I don't negotiate with terrorists, so I borrowed Rah's scanner tonight without telling her about the cursed artwork. Lucky for her the hardware survived the ordeal.

I was working from a photo to see what would happen if I went for a more realistic style, especially with the eyes. It didn't turn out too bad, though I'll admit I spent most of this evening dicking around with Corel to make the lips and nose and jawline look just right.

It's kind of awesome to be able to fix my mistakes digitally without feeling like a fraud. Because seriously man, FUCK white out.

Wow...I just realized that I faved this without commenting on it. Now I feel like a fav-whore. *headdesk*

I am also guilty of spending hours on a single feature trying to make it just right, and then after I post it I tend to see where I could have fixed it further. This is why I've developed a sort of panel. I have at least two other people look at it and say, "It needs this."

Anyways, I sort of see Sandra Bullock in this, too. Hee. She plays crazy/haunted people very well.

I don't mind if people fav without commenting. I always like comments, of course, but it's all good either way :D

Having those opinion panels is fantastically helpful. I also flip pictures over and try to see the flaws that way--often very helpful with symmetry problems!

I have shitty, shitty symmetry. Thank you God for computers.

Teehee... the terrorist comment made me happy. Glad to know that Rah's didn't succumb, as well.
Anywhos. I lurves this image. I have a slight thing for partial face shots, and the lines on here are amazing. and I really love the color... so, hurrah!
