SCRUBS - Then and Now by AtomicFireball SCRUBS - Then and Now by AtomicFireball
I would gladly pay a hobo $25 to kick Zach Braff in the junk. Not because I think it'll drown his little swimmers forever (although that would be a plus), but because it would be funny.

REMEMBER BEING FUNNY, MR. BRAFF? REMEMBER WHEN YOU USED TO MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH?

I always get sad when my favorite characters get pregnant, then I get scared like what if it's a plot twist and boom demon spawn. Imagine if shit went down like that in 7th heaven.

That is what happens when a very popular TV show gets TOO sentimental.

I got all the box sets for Christmas and Im trying to go through them as s-l-o-w-l-y as possible (bit it is very hard) because I don't want to come to that. Although I will never ever ever EVER lose my love for Zach Braff.
Oh, and Donald Faison tweeted me the other week :') Just wanted to say that to people who care -or used to- about Scrubs :')! Sorry xD! <3

Hey I think that you focused to much at the parental humor. I mean yes Elliot did go baby crazy, and yes Carla became really mommy obsessed, but for the most part it stayed true to it's slapsticky, sarcastic roots. I mean yeah, the whole season with Kim in it was HIGHLY baby centric, but it moved on from that. That's what I think anyway. Like the comic anyway though, even if I feel it is highly hyperbolic. :eager:

i take offense on Mr. Braff's behalf, but i like the picture regardless. i happen to love the show.maybe you didnt know, but the show is about then growing up and moving on. they go from being young and inexpirinced to older and well trained. either way, its a nice looking picture. keep up the good work

The concept was good but it went down the toilet when they started relying on parenthood humor too much. It was lazy and uninteresting to those of us who watch the show for entertainment rather than to see how the babies are doing :(

I heard it picked up after I quit watching though.

it really didnt pick up. id say you probably stopped watching around the 7th or 8th season? the show went off after that, but was brought back due to popular demand. but the show was completely different. i kinda lacked that charm that i had grown fond of. not to mention sacred heart was torn down, most of the characters never come back, and they introduce new, very annoying, characters.

Maybe it did once, but now it's a pile of shit with a rotten butthole on top. I guess there's just so many times you can make the same five jokes before you have to start pooping on crackers to get a laugh.

A damn shame, because I sure did used to like it...

"When you pop out a kid, the only think you'll be thinking is 'Ohh lookat the babbyy'"
Haha he was totally right.
Elliot's character really annoys me now. --'

Is Jordan the 'vodka milk' one?

I love Scrubs, but I'll admit it all went downhill when Jordan started being nice and JD knocked Kim up.
Either that, or probably season 6. *gag*

but yeah i love it. haha. : )

For some reason, I find that the newer seasons were funnier than the old. I didn't like it when JD went from girl to guy to girl.
I liked it better when he just stayed single and was picked on. Stupid children ruin my fantasies and fanfictions too!
There should be a sign on the hospital. "STOP MAKING BABIES!!"
nice picture btw

And that is why I watch mainly the re-runs on Comedy Central =] Babies are usually the sign of a series' imminent death, sadly enough...the characters have kids and they're just not them anymore. *taps Tv screen* STOP KNOCKING EACH OTHER UP, FOR THE LOVE OF TELEVISION D: Why is new life such a character killer?

I think once you've seen one character reduced to a series of "Isn't parenthood so awesome?" one-liners, you've seen 'em all. Sure, the whole plague of babies thing happens in real life...but it isn't interesting or funny then either.

I think they do it because they can't write dynamic characters, so they think nobody can be a grown-up until they have babies of their own. Instant maturity, just add semen! (Ewwwww.)

I've come to the conclusion that Zach Braff is actually a cockatiel.
He's got the beak, strange head plumage and he squawks a lot.
Identity crisis solved Mr Braff.

I haven't watched scrubs since first season, but I wholeheartedly agree with the 'babies have some kind of brian-melting power over certain people' sentiment.
On that note, here is a banned commercial that should rather be played between every toy comercial on tv! [link] you will laugh and scream "Hell Yes!!"

Education is the number one way to reduce unplanned people. I went to a private relgious school when I was young, but a very progressive one. We got a long lecture on abstinense before marrige. And then a longer lecture with pictures and demonstrations about family planning for after you were married(wink wink nudge nudge) with simple over-the counter products. Then they showed us the Video. 8O The video called something cheesily innocuos like "The Mircle of Life" which had tutti-frutti music and graphics, but gave all the technical info on reproduction. Then they showed us the 'miricle of birth'... with no blurs, no mute. Just a full-on shot of a screaming womans angry genitalia being torn assunder by a red and wrinkled infant. We all screamed, or at least I know I did, and I heard when they showed the video to the boys two feinted. I'm in my thirties now and have NO KIDS! LOL.

Eeeeep! The dreams... and I dream in vivid color anyway. Did I mention my favorite color is now blue? It was red from the time I was five til nine. Nine was when I saw The Video. Didn't make the first trip to the GYN any more fun either, yet conversely(or some might argue because) I'm lesBian. Go figure.
