The poses in this piece are based on classically cheesy Dracula artwork. The windows of the crypt started out as stock from the gallery of the very generous :iconfalln-stock:.

Kano and Heyoka are from my online comic Kagerou.

It's thoughts like these that will forever prevent me from having a lasting career in monster and/or demon slaying. :)

Very nice work, both with the art and the dialogue. I love Heyoka's expression, and the patterning on the coffin is really cool too.

a black 5 pixel stroke around the speech bubbles would give it a more traditional comic feel.

in photoshop , right click on the speech bubble layer , go to blending options then stroke.

Ah, so that's how people do that! I don't use layers or Photoshop, and all my speech bubbles from this comic tend to be plain white (unless the background is too light to show them off). I'll keep this tip in mind for when I eventually switch.

If I visited an art gallery and saw this, I think I would be offended. Many others have already been offended. So why can you post this on the web, because it's just like posting it in an art gallery. DeviantArt is literally an online art gallery.
